Cupping

This therapy is an ancient form of Traditional Chinese Medicine in which a therapist puts special cups on your skin for a few minutes to create suction. People receive the treatment for many purposes, including to help with pain, inflammation, blood flow, relaxation and well-being, and as a type of deep-tissue massage. The suction and pressure provided by cupping can loosen muscles, encourage blood flow, and sedate the nervous system (which makes it an excellent treatment for high blood pressure). Cupping is also used to relieve back and neck pains, stiff muscles, anxiety, fatigue, migraines, rheumatism, and even cellulite.

Like acupuncture, cupping follows the lines of the meridians. There are five meridian lines on the back, and these are where the cups are usually placed. Using these points, cupping can help to align and calm the Qi (life force energy) as well as target more specific illnesses. By targeting the meridian channels, cupping strives to ‘open’ these channels – the paths through which life energy flows freely throughout the body, through all tissues and organs, thus providing a smoother and more free-flowing Qi. Cupping is one of the best deep-tissue therapies available. It is thought to affect tissues up to four inches deep from the external skin. Toxins can be released, blockages can be cleared, and veins and arteries can be refreshed within these four inches of affected materials

Cupping therapy might be trendy now, but it’s not new. It dates back to ancient Egyptian, Chinese, and Middle Eastern cultures. One of the oldest medical textbooks in the world, the Ebers Papyrus, describes how the ancient Egyptians used cupping therapy in 1,550 B.C.

Advantages of  Home Visiting Service

Clients find it much more convenient and time efficient to work out at home with me.  I bring the necessary equipment and expertise and they just clear away a space and bring their energy.  In-home personal trainers can also teach clients workouts they can do on their own at home. Again this saves time and is more convenient for the client.  Training someone in their home allows me to keep the focus on them without any distractions.
