It is important for clients to know that physical activity and other lifestyle changes can minimize the effects of these conditions and greatly improve fitness and function. However, many conditions require modifications to exercise to ensure safe and effective programs.

But not just any good diet

Nutrition plays a critical role in supporting health, preventing and managing chronic disease, and maintaining independence and quality of life as we age. With a basic understanding of general nutrition recommendations for active older adults and the appropriate care and guidance of a qualified professional, older adults can maintain and improve their nutritional status. When this occurs, the risk of chronic disease, medical complications, and loss of independence is reduced, and the lives of older adults are positively affected.

Exercises that build balance and lower-body strength reduce the risk of falls among older adults by 33% or more.

Advantages of  Home Visiting Service

Clients find it much more convenient and time efficient to work out at home with me.  I bring the necessary equipment and expertise and they just clear away a space and bring their energy.  In-home personal trainers can also teach clients workouts they can do on their own at home. Again this saves time and is more convenient for the client.  Training someone in their home allows me to keep the focus on them without any distractions.
